Camberley Health Centre
To improve the health, well being
and lives of those we care for.
Welcome to our surgery website where we hope you will quickly benefit from a user friendly layout and a wealth of information about our healthcare services.
Please note that the reception desk at the surgery is now closed, to limit unnecessary face-to-face contact and reduce Coronavirus spread.
Please direct your queries / admininistration requests etc via telephone or eConsult (see below).
IF YOU HAVE A FEVER OR A NEW COUGH, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY.
- If your symptoms worsen, do not clear after 7 days or you need any other medical input during this time of self-isolation, please contact NHS 111 online.
- If you are well and want more information regarding Coronavirus, please see the NHS 111 website.
Thank you for your cooperation in this, to help limit spread of the infection and protect our most vulnerable patients.
NHSE, PHE and the wider Government as part of their Covid-19 strategy have identified that the patients who are deemed most vulnerable should be placed on an at-risk category and have been advised to self-isolate for 12 weeks. NHSE have written directly to these patients.
The government and GP practices themselves have identified that there are peripheral groups of patients who may also be at high risk but have not been identified in the initial cohorts who have received letters.
The government has announced to GP practices that they are formulating a method to identify these additional patients.
At this precise moment we do not have any further news and or information. We expect such patients to be notified directly, however once we have any further information we will do our utmost to ensure that this is circulated to the necessary patients as soon as practically possible. Please understand that the entire health care and wider system is working against unprecedented circumstances and pressures.
Appointments during Coronavirus season
In light of the current Coronavirus situation, we are reducing non-essential attendance at the surgery. Hence you will be initially assessed with a telephone consultation (triage call) and no face-to-face consultations are bookable without clinician approval. Please therefore do help the reception team when they ask you for information regarding your problem or query.
We have also temporarily disabled the ability to book appointments online, following advice from NHS England. This is to ensure we can help patients book the most appropriate appointment with the most appropriate person, and only face-to-face if clinically required.
Alternatively, you may wish to use the new eConsult service instead of an appointment. Please note, while we endevour to complete every request by the end of next working day, due to current circumstances, we may not be able to stick to this time frame. All requests will be actioned within 72 working hours.
For on-the-day appointments at weekends and bank holidays
Please telephone 01276 949999 at weekends and on bank holidays as some appointments are available in the local area (rotating around the different GP surgeries). This number is not in use at any other time, however.
Jump Phone Queues - Download the NHS APP
NHS App allows you to book appointments, order prescriptions, check your symptoms, and view your medical record. Registration to book appointments and order prescriptions is completed through the app and there is no need to come in to the surgery to complete ID verification.
If you would also like to view your medical record, then please complete this form, and bring it to reception with photographic identification.
Other online services are available, including https://www.patientaccess.com.
Please click here for more information.
If you need help with a minor health problem or with your routine medication, your local pharmacist will be able to help you. If you want to know more, click here.
The turn around time for repeat prescriptions is 72 hours/3 working days. Please ensure that you order your repeat prescriptions in sufficient time to make sure you do not run out. Thank you.
We send text messages to confirm appointments, appointment reminders, and invitations to book appointments for vaccinations and annual reviews. In the future we may also send some test results. We hope that you will find this useful.
Please note that text messages will be sent to the mobile phone number that we have on our records. Please remember to update your number on our records when necessary. You can update your number by speaking to reception, or by clicking here.

Care data extraction
