You may be aware that there is currently a measles outbreak in Surrey and Sussex. Measles is an illness that can lead to more serious complications such as pneumonia and encephalitis.

Our additional measles clinics have now finished, but you can book a measles vaccination appointment by contacting reception.

Chicken Pox

There is a lot of chicken pox in the area at the moment.  If your child has chicken pox you do not normally need to see a doctor - the disease will run its course.

Click here for help to check if it is chicken pox and for information on when a GP appointment is appropriate.

Online Services

The practice has an online system which allows the booking and canceling of appointments with a doctor (in addition to prescription requests).

This is known as Patient Access and is reached through the website or by clicking here. (Click on 'Register' on the left hand side of their website to start the registration process).

As part of the registration process, you will be asked to enter some personal details and choose some security questions (similar to registering for online banking, for example).

Once initially registered, it will then allow you limited use of the online system (such as booking a first appointment online). When you next come into the surgery, you will then be required to show photographic proof of identification, so that we can authorise your online account to enable all the features (such as canceling appointments, requesting prescriptions).

Patients under the age of 16 years will not be able to register and use the online services for now, due to the difficulties with maintaining confidentiality. For a full explanation, please click here.
